The Ultimate Blogging Planner You Need To Grow Your Blog
Here are the pages that are included in the blogging planner:
You absolutely need to know “your why” behind your blog. Why are spending all this time and energy? Who are you hoping to help? What is your target audience? Once you know your why, you can plan your content calendar and create content freebies better and get more followers.
What are your goals? What are you hoping to accomplish? I suggest setting goals monthly or quarterly, depending on how active your blog is. These goals can be big or small — anything counts! Are you hoping to get a certain amount of followers? Do you want more people on your mailing list? Do you have a blog traffic goal?
Having a style sheet is extremely helpful! I used to go searching for my fonts or my colors every time I made a graphic. It was so time consuming! Now I have a single sheet that contains all my information.
Monthly Viral Topics
This sheet has been a lifesaver. You may think that you can just write about whatever you want and the people will come flocking to your site. Maybe they will! But it’s not likely. Every month, people research different topics. Before Christmas, people look for gift ideas for women, men, or babies. Before school starts, people research back to school tips. Once you know what the viral topics are, it’s way easier for one of your blog posts to take off since people are more likely to be looking for your article.
Blog Post Ideas
Not sure about you, but I have a million blog post ideas floating around in my bed. Every time I’m in my office, I write down as many articles as a can so I don’t forget any. I have several of these filled with ideas!
12 Month Content Calendar
This is probably one of my most used pages in the blogging planner. This is where I plan all of my blog content and all of my freebies. I usually try to plan out about 3 months worth of content — this is where the blog post ideas sheet comes into play! I sit down with my content calendar and my blog post ideas sheet, and I plan all my content out!
There are so many things to remember to do after you publish a blog post! I can never remember all of them — which is why I included this sheet. I make one of these for every blog post and when it’s complete, I file it away. Easy peasy.
Guest Post Tracker
Guest posts are super important for getting links and also to network with other bloggers. I like to keep track of which guest posts go live on which site. I like to see how many views it gets back to my site, but I also like to share it on my sites as well.
Collaborations or sponsored posts can be a great source of income for bloggers depending on how much traffic your receive.
Income Tracker & Expenses Tracker
Your blog is a business — and you need to treat it as such. If you are making money and spending money, you need to keep track of it all. These blogging planner pages will help you keep track of all the money you are making and the money you are spending.
Weekly Social Media Calendar
If you utilize social media correctly, it can drive a ton of traffic to your blog. So you want to keep track of everything you’re posting.
There are also a couple other pages that will be super useful.
How To Use This Ultimate Blogging Planner
I print out all my pages and put them in a binder. I actually separate them into 2 binders because there are just so many pages! I do my content calendar and a couple other pages related to that in one binder and the rest go in the 2nd binder.
